Time: March 1st from 5:30pm to 8pm
Location: The Biscuit Factory, 100 Clements Road, London, SE16 4DG
Event Type: panel discussion
Idea -> proof of concept -> funding -> growth -> sale: many successful start-ups follow a pattern. But we all know of companies that started without VC funding - Dell, Microsoft, HP... And there are many arguments against early funding - from giving away equity dearly, to spending indiscipline... In fact, often, entrepreneurs spend significant resources doing the VC rounds, ignoring other business needs.
So do you really need funding? Is bootstrapping possible when you don’t have money of your own to invest? What are the trade-offs you make when you bootstrap? And when is it better to look for funding?
Event limited to 50 attendees. Registrations at http://www.dreamstake.net/events/the-start-up-conversation-20-1 will be closed once the limit is reached.
